About Chapter IVXX
Chapter IVXX is an independent online community built around cultivation, useful knowledge, privacy, and member participation.
The goal is not to become the largest forum possible. The goal is to maintain a place where people can exchange experience and information without the community being shaped around advertising, behavioral tracking, or growth metrics.
Why it exists
Online communities are often treated as audiences to be monetized. Chapter IVXX takes a different approach: the community exists for its members.
That means minimizing unnecessary data collection, keeping commercial incentives out of community decisions, making moderation accountable, and being open about how the site is funded and operated.
What privacy-first means here
Privacy-first does not mean pretending an Internet service can collect nothing. Servers, security systems, authentication, and infrastructure providers must process limited technical information for the service to function.
Our goal is to keep that processing limited to legitimate operational and security needs rather than turning it into advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking.
What Chapter IVXX is not

- Not a public marketplace.
